What will happen to MotoShop?

MotoShop currently operates solely on Internet Explorer which Microsoft will stop supporting at the end of this year. As a result, we have selected Tekmetric as the successor to MotoShop. Shops will receive a best-in-class shop management system that will elevate both shops and customers experiences.

What needs to be done in order to prepare for the transition?

1. Schedule time with an expert to learn more about the features and benefits of switching to Tekmetric and begin the transition process.

2. Communicate to your team about the upcoming transition and setup your employees so they can login and access our training courses ahead of time and practice.

3. Once you setup your employees, you will finalize your shop settings. The following must be setup at a minimum in order to launch and transition successfully.
- Labor Rates
- At least one part supplier integration
- Advance RO settings

4. If you have time, we also recommend you have the following setup:
- Parts Matrix
- Terms of Services / Disclaimers
- Appointment Settings
- Job Categories
- Inspections

How long will it take me to setup the shop and do training?

We recommend to give yourself and your team about 7-10 business days to get everyone trained and have all shop settings completed. It is really up to you on how much time you want to dedicate in a certain period.

Can I integrate my credit card processor?

The only seamless integration offered is through Tekmerchant or 360 Payments. You can still use Tekmetric with your current Payment Processor, it will just not be integrated.

How do I access Tekmetric Training Courses?

You can access our training courses by logging into Tekmetric and clicking the ? mark icon on the top right corner of the screen. If there is an error message when trying access the courses, please contact our support team at 832-930-9400 Opt 2.

What hardware do you recommend?

Tekmetric is 100% cloud-based and compatible with any device. We recommend using Tekmetric with Google Chrome web browser. We find a lot of users have success with the Samsung Galaxy TabA or the Apple iPad.
