Tekmetric is very user friendly, I first experienced using it at a Meineke shop in Arlington Texas, within the first week I could comfortably navigate it and understand it. The inspection option helps with customer transparency and helps to get jobs sold with picture evidence. The inspections also help cover the shop from liability by providing proof the condition of the vehicle when it arrived. The way that the invoices are split up into categorized sections helps to breakdown the cost to customers and improve sales. When I moved to Texarkana and started working at an independent owner operated shop, they were using Mitchell shop software, I was appalled at how convoluted and confusing both the computer setup and invoice layout was. As well as the fact that it did not provide any option for technician inspections or pictures. I explained to the owner about Tekmetric and how much better it was for the techs, managers and customers. He got this system setup at the shop and it has been excellent. Tekmetric offers many helpful tools, such as up front loans that can be paid back by taking a small percentage off of every credit card transaction to help during hard financial times as well as many other useful tools and services that help a shop run more efficiently. I would highly recommend Tekmetric to anyone looking to update their shop software, starting a shop, or is looking for the best option available. It is a very easy system to learn or teach, it has a large number of features and services offered alongside it to help with shop efficiency as a whole, and is a fairly easy integration.

It is extremely easy to use. Getting the VIN from the license plate and being able to access general maintenance labor times directly from the software is very convenient.

Tekmetric excels at empowering shops to be able to work at their full capacity & efficiency. Being a service advisor, this is very important to me because hurdles lead to stopgaps, which ultimately lead to missed marks on our end for services provided. Both the lightning-fast speed of operations on the Tekmetric platform as well as it's very intuitive and simple to use UI contribute heavily to the efficiency of this shop management system - but really it's the perfectly curated design of this software that makes my life a lot easier. You can tell Tekmetric was designed by a shopowner. From creating the repair order, to filling the customer's information, to then pricing out parts and pulling those parts from the inventory management system, to then finalizing the repair order and collecting payment - the entire process is seamless and intuitive. All order of operations from getting a customer in the shop to handing them the keys work in conjunction with each other; there aren't any roundabout methods needed to access information you need with Tekmetric. Other shop management platforms that are server based typically presented a lot of these cumbersome hurdles that I am detailing - but this is avoided with Tekmetric's use of a web based system. It's great being able to access my shop remotely anytime and anywhere, as well as communicate with my customers with ease at any hour. With Tekmetric, I can confidently say that both our shop's and customer's expectations have been regularly met and problems from the shop management side of things have really been diminished to almost none.
